Step-01:
Visit the official website of NFSA which is nfsa.gov.in and click on the Ration Card option which is given in the header menu and select Ration Card Details on State Portals.

After being redirected to the official portal of your area, scroll down to the bottom of the web page and click on the Apply For New Ration Card option.

When you click on the said option, another option you’ll need to select and that’ll be For New Applicant option.

After that, the system will ask you to enter your registered mobile number. Enter your mobile number and also enter the OTP which will be sent on your submitted mobile number.

When you enter what’s needed, then click on the Proceed button for further process.

When you put the right information, you’ll have access to the smart ration card dashboard, and in just a few simple steps, you’re digital ration card process will be completed.
Step-09:
When you’ve got access to the dashboard, the system will ask you some questions related to your family. Answer them, click on the Next option, and you’ll proceed to Step-02.
Step-10:
In the 2nd step, the system will ask you to enter the address details like your district, block, gram panchayat, fair price shop details, communication details, head of the family details, etc. You can also add more family members to the smart ration card if you want to.
Step-11:
After filling in the correct details, click on the Next option for Step-03.

After clicking on the Next option, a preview form will open in front of you. If you don’t want to edit the form then simply just tick mark on the Agree option, and click on the Proceed button.
Step-13:
In the 3rd step, you need to upload all the important documents of those family members whom you added in the Add More Members area.
Step-14:
Upload a PDF copy of your aadhaar card, EPIC card, PAN card, Birth Certificate, etc for complete verification.
Step-15:
In the final step, the system will ask you to enter the OTP. Just click on the GET OTP button and an OTP will be received on your submitted and registered mobile number.
Step-16:
Enter that OTP in the needed section and click on the submit OTP button.
Note: Congrats! Your digital smart ration card process has been completed, and it’ll be delivered to your submitted address in 15-20 business days, or you can also download your smart ration card online.
